Composition for Non Majors IV
Individual tuition in composition/music creation/sound design and other creative formats. Creative work in any
genre and including oral/aural traditions of all cultures is embraced. Weekly Composition Seminar, and
participation in/attendance of Student Composers’ Concerts are expected. Portfolio submission of 3
contrasting extended solo, extended chamber, large ensemble or electronic/other sound technology media at
end of term, with presentation.
Prerequisites: MU366 or MU360 with minimum grade of
B and permission of the dean.
Exclusions: MU460.
